Ok, so I called the facilitator yesterday, and we talked for about 40 minutes. She runs a very good program for women in need. Makes sure they have counseling, education, some skills, works on their goals. Adoption isn't the main focus, but she wants it there as an option, and she wants it done right.
My feeling is that the women they work with may be out of our comfort level, and that's ok. But, she will hold our profile without charge, and if there is someone who she thinks we'd like to be shown to (after she's gone through her contracted families), she'll call & ask if it's ok, and then we go from there. The gal who is due in January had just one red flag for us, and so I didn't get much more information other than her situation.
